Premier League is officially back after a month off from the World Cup 2022. Football did not stop as they are many behind-the-scenes move happening during the one month break. Premier Leagues players were the most represented in the World Cup stage. An amazing World Cup and tournament, but now club football is back, and it is back with a bang.
Premier League start in Christmas and in Boxing Day 2022. To be fair the opening day of the league did not bring much surprising on the pitch. However they were more surprises of the pitch on Boxing Day.
Let's start out top 3 analysis of the Premier League roundup on boxing day.
Football Boxing Day Round Up 2022
Where shall we start? Shall we start with how Spurs never give up and can always come back from a goal down. Or shall we say that Spurs do not know how to win yet they do not like losing as well. But they are a fighting team. Nothing surprising with the scoreline, but more with Spurs are a team that is ready to go the extra mile and never stop fighting till the last minute.
Liverpool vs Aston Villa: The Reds Are Back?
Despite some impressive attacking play, Liverpool still has major defensive issues. Andy Robertson set a Premier League record for assists from a defender when he teamed up with Trent Alexander-Arnold to set up a stunning Mohamed Salah goal, and Salah returned the favor by setting up Virgil van Dijk at the back post during a chaotic set piece. However, Arsenal made a strong comeback in the second half, putting Liverpool under heavy pressure and causing them to concede two goals from Ollie Watkins. Fortunately for the Reds, the first goal was disallowed due to a close offside call. The final score may show a two-goal win for Liverpool, but they only had 53% possession and a narrow 16-12 lead in shots."
Are the reds back after winning three games in the row and are fighting a spot in Champions League football now. One small bite, Cody Gakpo recently signed with Liverpool on a six year deal. One of the break-out stars in the World Cup is joining the red in January.

Andy Robertson is the all time assist king of any defender in the premier now with 54 assists. What a delicious outside of the boot cross from Trent to give Robertson the assist to Salah.
Leicester City vs Newcastle United: Contenders or Pretenders?
The way Newcastle dominated in the first 20 minutes is like watching a team who do not know how to lose. They run for every ball and you got to give it to Eddie Howe for turning the fans around to support the team again.
I have to admit, I'm pretty surprised by this result. But you know what? It looks like Newcastle might be the real deal this year in the Premier League. They've been putting in some impressive performances and it's starting to show in their results. Keep an eye on them, because they could be a force to be reckoned with.
Arsenal vs West Ham United: Can Arsenal Go All The Way
Without Jesus, Saka, Martinelli, and Odegaard can direct the Arsenal attack: When Gabriel Jesus fell ill with a serious injury that required surgery, everyone was worried. Arsenal showed they might just be able to manage without their star summer signing who has made such a significant difference as the Brazilian forward watched on gleefully from the stands with his hood drawn up. Jesus hasn't been particularly productive since joining Arsenal, but he has been the anchor for their rhythmic assault. Eddie Nketiah, who will play as the center forward in his place, is capable of finishing chances and making similar runs from behind. However, it is up to Saka, Martinelli, and Odegaard to maintain their fluid approach, and they did an excellent job of it.
Crystal Palace vs Fulham: Fulham is the real deal
Fulham's victory propels them up to 8th place in the Premier League table, with 22 points and temporarily level with Liverpool (though Fulham has played two more games at the moment). Palace, on the other hand, stays put in 11th place with 19 points. Mitrovic, known for his scoring prowess, set up De Cordova Reid, typically the assist man, for the first goal in the 31st minute. Things quickly went from bad to worse for Crystal Palace as Tyrick Mitchell was shown a red card for a dangerous challenge on Kenny Tete's shin in the 34th minute. Mitrovic sealed the win with a 3-0 scoreline in the 80th minute, thanks to a close-range redirect off Willian's volley. This gives him a total of 10 PL goals this season, making him the fourth highest scorer (behind Haaland, Kane, and Toney)
Well that is a short Premier League round up on Boxing Day 2022. Just a bit for information Manchester United seems they might need Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker. But is it early to analysis as it Manchester United.
